Established in 1995, SpeakOut has more than 12 years experience and success in supporting young people to positively change their lives.

Our vision is that all young people are valued and equipped to change their world and create a better future.

Our mission is to equip young people to overcome disadvantage and change their world through creativity and enterprise.

We actively lead, and partner in, a worldwide movement that nurtures the creativity, participation and voices of young people.

Currently, we are creating ongoing opportunities for more than 2,000 young people to shift from their existing circumstances to pathways of employment, training, skills development, social and cultural engagement, enterprise development, active citizenry, health and well-being.

We work in close to 30 distinct communities throughout Queensland, with a diverse range of government, community, private and corporate partners.

In the past 3 years, we have worked with more than 4,000 young people and their communities.

These young people are now students, designers, facilitators, performers, project coordinators, teachers, animators, film-makers, business owners, and community leaders.
