The support and investment of numerous people and organisations, in the lives of young people and communities SpeakOut works with, has ensured some outstanding successes in 2007.

SpeakOut's highly-acclaimed 8 week program that supports young people experiencing disadvantage to develop skills and pathways in the creative industries is currently seeking expressions of interest for 2008.

Queensland Rail (QR) recently launched a rail safety campaign, developed in partnership with SpeakOut, targeting young people and 'at risk' behaviour around railway lines.

More than 30 young people from migrant communities throughout Brisbane and Logan recently performed at the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts in a production titled Uncharted.

From October 30 to November 2, SpeakOut Connect facilitated and supported 64 young people (aged 13 to 20) from throughout Australasia to share their stories and experiences of living in care.

SpeakOut has established a partnership with XSProject Australia to more effectively market its products Australia-wide and to develop a scholarship program that will support young people in Indonesia to regularly attend school.

The SpeakOut Trainees are featuring in an emerging artists exhibition that will open on Monday 3rd December at 6.30pm.
