Young Carers Digital Storytelling Project

Young carers participated in 3 hours of fun, food and skills development at the recent project launch for the Young Carers Digital Storytelling Project (Young Carers DSP).
On Saturday 6th September, young carers and their families gathered at the Mount Mount Gravatt PCYC to learn more about the Young Carers Digital Storytelling Project (Young Carers DSP) that will take place during the September school holidays.
The launch was an opportunity for introductions, information sharing and to learn the basics of stop motion animation.

Young Carers DSP will involve young people between the ages of 9 and 17 who have primary care for a relative or friend, sharing their stories and ideas through storytelling, animation, film, photography, visual and digital art, and DVD production.
This is the second project SpeakOut Connect has developed and delivered with Young Carers Project (Brisbane South).
