SpeakOut to celebrate the success of 17 recent graduates
On Friday 17th October, 17 young people will formally graduate from the SpeakOut Traineeship.
The SpeakOut Traineeship is a 12 month, full-time industry and career development program that combines nationally accredited training, personal and professional skills development, and paid on-the-job training.
The Graduation will be held at The Queensland Terrace, State Library of Queensland, and will feature a showcase of some of the graduates work and a certificate presentation from the Department of Employment and Industrial Relations.
The event will be an opportunity for family and friends to celebrate the young peoples achievements and also for industry representatives to meet the talented graduates.
Canapes and non-alcoholic cocktails are being supplied by Espresso Train Catering, a social enterprise based on Brisbane's northside.
The event is supported by State Library of Queensland and Espresso Train Catering.
The 2007/2008 SpeakOut Traineeship was supported by the Queensland Government's Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative and Translink.
