Sustainable products empower Indonesia's poor

SpeakOut has established a partnership with XSProject Australia to more effectively market its products Australia-wide and to develop a scholarship program that will support young people in Indonesia to regularly attend school.

XSProject started as an artist's expression against the impact of consumerism on the environment. The company uses design and education to clean up the environment and help Indonesia’s poor.

Purchasing a fashion or household product through XSProject supports communities in Jakarta and Indonesia to both address first-world waste issues and move out of poverty.

When making a purchase, buyers can also support SpeakOut Foundation (at no additional charge) by selecting Speak Out limited as the fundraising school they also wish to support [see image above].

The majority of the purchase price goes directly to support the families and micro enterprise in Indonesia and the SpeakOut receives a small percentage to cover resale costs.
