SpeakOut's highly-acclaimed 8 week program that supports young people experiencing disadvantage to develop skills and pathways in the creative industries is currently seeking expressions of interest for 2008.

Orbit is a skills exploration, development and transition program that includes creative industries focussed workshops and training in illustration,photography, film & video, graphic design, music, multimedia software training, self-promotion, and industry network development and mapping.

Expressions of interest are now open for the 2008 Orbit program through which
24 young people (aged 15–25), who are experiencing limited opportunities, will have the chance to develop visual design skills and identify creative employment and training pathways.

Orbit 2008 will commence on the 17th March 2008 and expressions of interest close on the 14th February.

Orbit is also a prerequisite for application to SpeakOut's 12 month full-time traineeship.
